Measurements:  Don't worry a fit consultant will contact you BEFORE we cut your jeans to review all your measurements and concerns.  We GUARANTEE your satisfaction.

Measure at the point you want your jeans to be on your body, usually several inches below your belly button. It is not your true waist size, but the measurement of the waistband of your jeans. Don't be alarmed if it is much larger than the size of jeans you are used to buying.
Measure your hip at the mid-buttock, or if measuring your favorite jeans, measure how wide they are 3" up from the crotch and double it. (Jeans should be smoothed out on a hard, flat surface for accuracy)
Measure your thigh 1" below the crotch point. If measuring pants on a flat surface, double it. If measuring pants you would like looser or tighter, make the adjustment. If you are ordering skinny jeans, it matters. If you are measuring your body but don't want skin tight jeans, also add the desired amount. If you are ordering straight jeans, the pattern will automatically be larger and thigh measurement is not as important, unless you have proportionally large thighs and need the extra room. If this is too confusing, let's talk about your vision for your jeans so we get it just right. Email us at paluzi@yahoo.com
This is definitely easier to measure from another pair of jeans. The Front Rise is from where the four seams meet in the crotch of your pants. Measure from the point up to how high you want your jeans to be, including the band. INCLUDING THE BAND. This is crucial to getting the proper measurement, so sorry I yelled it.
This is also more easily measured from a pair of jeans, adding or subtracting based on how high up you want your jeans to go. Remember, crack kills and not in a good way. So if you don't relish the 'whale tail' look of your panties sticking out, it is possible to go higher in the back and keep your jeans relatively low in the front. Include the band in your measurement.
The inseam is also best measured from an existing pair of jeans. Measure from the crotch point down to the end of the jeans, and add or subtract to get the length you desire. If you want to turn your jeans up at the bottom but still have them reach your shoes, be sure to add at least two inches.
Measure the side of your body or favorite jeans from the point you want them to come to on your body - where you measured your waist- to the bottom. If measuring another pair of jeans, add or subtract any amount to make them perfect for you.
This will help us with a general starting point for your pattern. Email us with additional information, such as "I buy size 6 but they're always too big in the waist" or I buy size 10 but they are too short in the rise, yet too long and I have to get them hemmed."
